Windows 10 Preview for Phone will have a staggered release, some features may be cut for 512MB devices

Windows Vice President Joe Belfiore has taken to Twitter to answer some questions about the upcoming release of Windows 10 Preview for Phone.

However, his answers are just creating more questions.

He says the release is on track for February, which we already knew and which still does not give us a more precise date.

He says the timing of the release will be different for different phones, which, again, just demands more answers....like which phones first and which last and why.

He also says his team is working on Windows 10 for lesser-powered devices with 512MB of RAM. And he says features may vary. Which features? And - again - why?

It's looking increasingly like even this Preview release of Windows 10 for Phone is going to be a staggered, straggling and confusing affair. Much like the release of the Denim firmware update for Lumias.

Let's hope the public full release of Win10 is more organised.
