App Alert: iFitness Is Top Of The Exercise Crowd

There are hundreds of fitness and gym-training apps in the Apple app store. I've tried quite a few and here's my recommendation.

iFitness has just about everything covered and has apps for the iPhone iPod Touch and the iPad.

Detailed tutorials in words, pics and videos show how to exercise individual parts of the body.

It includes weight-training, equipment exercise, and aerobic workouts.

A special section gives programmes for various goals: Beginner, Abdominal, Weight Loss, Muscle Building, Strength Building, Complete Body Workout, Ultimate Arm Workout to name a few. There's even Business Travel Workout.

You can keep notes and records of your routines and the app will give you read-outs and graphs of your progress.

To be honest, it covers much the same ground as many fitness apps, it just does it much better with really good graphics, clear instructions and excellent video tutorials.

An added bonus is that this app is very regularly updated.  Exercises are added and modified so you can vary your routine.

iFitness for iPhone/Touch has just been updated yet again. It costs £1.19 and here's the App Store Link.

iFitness HD for the iPad costs £2.99 and here's the App Store link.

I like this app but it was deleted from the store. Now I downloaded another app for iPhone - All-in fitness which is practically the same in main option but have more exercises and even video lessons. Excellent app!
