We knew it was successful...and here's the proof.
The developers of the addictive Angry Birds game for iPhones and iPads have sold more than 12-million copies from the Apple App Store.
At 59p per download, that's more than £7-million. The developers get 70%...that's nearly £5-million. Wow.
Angry Birds is developed by Finish company Rovio and its CEO Mikael Hed says there've also been 30-million downloads of the free version of the game, which has adverts to add to the revenue.
He says he plans to continue developing Angry Birds for other platforms, like consoles. Its popularity has made for spin-offs as well...like toys and iPhone cases.
