It seems Apple is planning a major overhaul of its expanding chain of retail stores.
9to5mac is reporting the makeover project has the internal name "Apple Store 2.0" and is being overseen by CEO Steve Jobs, currently on sickness leave, but known to be still active in the company.
One of the leaked changes includes "Start-Up Sessions" with larger store space given over to getting customers started with their newly-bought devices.
It also seems the paper signs next to display products will disappear, and be replaced with customised iPads that customers can prod to get detailed specs.
It's ten years since the first two Apple Stores were opened in Virginia and Glendale, California. Today, it has more than 300 stores worldwide, with the Regent Street, London, shop the most profitable. It's believed it takes £60-million a year.
