Al Jazeera launches English service WP app

TV news service Al Jazeera has released an official Windows Phone app for its English channel output.

And it's a pretty impressive app that works on WP7 as well as WP8.

The app from the Middle East-based station includes live streaming:

- All the latest news, features, spotlight, opinion and blogs from Al Jazeera English
- Programmes videos and information for the latest shows
- News video clips
- 24 hour free access to the live broadcast
- Breaking news alerts
- In Pictures gallery
- Send your media to Al Jazeera
