Terry Touch Hits App Store - A Work Of Experience

A month ago, we told you about 16-year-old Jack McLean.. He'd just finished taking his GCSEs and had landed a work-experience holiday job at an app design studio in London.

The studio, ustwo, gave him a project - to develop a game app called Terry Touch for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.  And he did it, in three weeks with a bit of help from the team at the studio.

The app was submitted to Apple, approved, and now it's a free download in iTunes.

Not bad going for a summer job.

Here's how ustwo describe the game:

The premise of the app is simple: Tap, Slide, Glide or Spin your way to the top of the leader board. Terry Touch™ is a finger tapping, nerve-shattering game designed to push your touch skills to a new level. Compete using the 4 simple games to beat your best score and don’t let Terry Touch down!

As for Jack, he says it was the best two weeks he's had.

And he got four A* in his GCSEs.  Not a bad summer.
