App Alert: CyDelete Makes Deleting Jailbreak Apps Easy

Cydia is ugly, cumbersome, clunky, and takes ages to load. But, hey, it's the only app store we have for jailbroken iDevices.

If you haven't jailbroken your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, you won't know Cydia. It's an app store that's installed when you jailbreak and it offers paid and free apps that won't/can't get into the official Apple App Store. And very useful apps there are too. But Cydia itself is not good. We used to have the Rock store as well, but Cydia has now eaten that up.

One major problem with Cydia-installed apps is you have to use Cydia to uninstall them.

Well, there's an app in Cydia called CyDelete that changes that. Install it, and you can delete jailbreak apps the same way you delete Apple Store apps - hold down the icon, and hit the red X when it wiggles.

Much easier.

CyDelete is free to download from Cydia on jailbroken devices.
