FaceTime Video Calling Over 3G

A nifty little app called 3G Unrestrictor has just been updated for the latest iOS4.1.  And it means you can use FaceTime video-calling on an iPhone 4 over 3G and not just wifi.

The app - for jailbroken devices - tricks other apps into thinking they've got a wifi connection when, in fact, they're using 3G.

You can select the apps you want to trick and even choose whether to have a pop-up appear asking if you want to use 3G unrestrictor when those apps are launched.

If wifi is available, 3G Unrestrictor does nothing.

It means you can make YouTube think it's on wifi and stream hi-def video.

3G Unrestrictor is live now on Cydia on jailbroken devices and costs $3.99
