It's well known that Apple is planning a new iPad (or two) after the runaway success of the original device.And gradually, we're getting a clearer picture of what's to come.
It's reported that Apple has now successfully applied for a patent to give the device a second docking port....with the new one on the longer side of the device.
It would mean you can dock your iPad in either landscape or portrait position on the accessory keyboard.
And we already know the Second Generation iPad will have front and rear cameras for video-calling.
What's still not clear is how big the device will be. It seems certain Apple will produce a smaller 7" screen version and may well also release another model the same size as the current device.
