Apple is updating its iWork suite of productivity apps for the iPad, to take advantage of new features in the iOS4.2.1 operating system update.Pages, Keynote and Numbers will now support multi-tasking, a feature new to the iPad with iOS4.2.1
It means you can save work being carried out in the apps, and leave them running in the background while you use another app on your iPad.
There will also be other improvements to individual iWork apps, including being able to see presenter notes on your iPad running Keynote while it's attached to an external display.
