It's Time To Stop Buying iPhones...

We're coming up to that crucial time in the iPhone calendar.  The time to stop buying iPhones.

It now seems virtually certain that the new iPhone 5 will be released in June.  If not June, then July. So what's the point of buying the middle-aged iPhone 4, when the new one is just around the corner...if you crane your neck a little.
Ever since the first iPhone in 2007, the sale month has been June...well, apart from 2008 when it was July.

Even the mainstream tech media...Wall Street Journal etc...are now reporting on the gestation of the iPhone 5 before its annual birth.

I must admit, it seems an odd time for Verizon in the US to be launching the...err..iPhone4.  Bit late in the game. And as for the white iPhone 4 about to be released at last.... ridiculously late in the game.

We'll remember the iPhone 4 with fondness. That crap external antenna and all the "hold different" jokes. The yellow spots on the screen because the glue hadn't dried properly. And FaceTime. Is anyone actually using FaceTime?

So, if you're thinking about buying an iPhone, I'd wait.  Hold off and see what June has in store. Apple Store.
