Google's Android Market now has more free downloads than Apple's App Store.
According to a report from analyst Distimo, Android offers 134,342 compared with Apple's 121,845.
But it's a different matter for paid apps, where Google has a third of the Apple total. This gives Apple the largest number of all apps, both paid and free.
But Distimo says it expected the Android Market to overtake the Apple App Store in about five months time.
