BGR is reporting that Apple may be planning to buy US bookseller Barnes & Noble.
The website quotes an "unproven source" who claims to "have knowledge of discussions within Apple".
The speculation goes that Apple would take over the vast Barnes & Noble library of digital books and incorporate them into iBooks, kill off the company's Nook eBook reader and convert the firm's retail stores into Apple Stores.
It would probably cost Apple up to $1.5-billion, which Cupertino can well afford.
We're sure Apple has discussed the move, but whether it's decided to go ahead with it is another matter.
