Designed By Apple In California...Assembled By Foxconn In Brazil

DigiTimes reports that Foxconn's new factory in Brazil has been completed and will start shipping iPads in December. It's thought it could be used to start production of the iPad 3.
The plant reportedly is a joint venture between Foxconn and the government of Brazil, with Foxconn contributing a capital of US$12 million. Industry watchers in Taiwan originally expected the plant to kick off commercial operations in the first quarter of 2012.As Apple is expected to launch its new generation iPad in early 2012, the Foxconn plant in         Brazil is likely to begin production with iPad 3, the sources asserted.
