Freeview Launches iPad TV Guide App

UK digital TV platform. Freeview, has launched a TV guide app for the iPad.

It's had an iPhone app for some time and it's now also released apps for Android smartphones and tablets.

One nice feature is that the guide, which is free, is actually downloaded to your device, so you don't need a data connection to view it until it gets out-of-date.

Update: I've used this app for a bit down and it's not good. It takes ages to populate and the font is so small as to be unreadable - well, for me anyway. I'm sticking with TV Guide.
