Update: And it's gone! Apple has pulled iTether from the app store. Don't say we didn't warn you.
Here's a turn up for the books. iTether is an approved app in the Apple App Store that tethers your iPhone and turns it into a WiFi hotspot. But grab it quickly. It probably won't be around for long.
OK, I know iOS lets you tether your phone with its HotSpot feature, but that depends on you buying a tethering data plan from your mobile carrier.
iTether bypasses that and lets you use your existing data allowance for tethering and sharing your data plan with your laptop.
In the past, you had to jailbreak your device to get apps with the same feature.
Carriers won't like it...and it's surprising that Apple have approved it. Let's take bets on when it'll be pulled.
iTether has a hefty £10.49/$14.99 price tag, but it could save you a fortune if you're into tethering.
