Now this is what a tablet should be like. China's first robot store has just opened in Hubei province and this is one of its offerings. A tablet-touting, talking robot.
A 50-centimeter-high, talking robot gives customers a friendly, warm welcome when they step into the shop. The little cute robot is known as ‘Xiao You’, which is designed with big round head, boxy body and sparkling eyes. It has built in web-cam and touch screen tablet (we assume it’s a Andriod tablet ! ). The robot can talk and respond to human, similar to Apple SIRI. It can also entertain and accompany your kids.The robot costs 4,000 yuan, that's a little more than £400. Here's a report broadcast by Chinese state TV.
