Another Phishing Email Targets Apple Customers

A new phishing email targeting Apple customers is doing the rounds, according to security analysts Intego.

The difference with this one is the quality...it's pretty good.

It asks customers to log in and provides what looks like a genuine link to the Apple Store website. Of course, it's not and takes you to a fake site, but a very good one.

Here, the scammers try to persuade you to fill in your Apple username and password.

Especially vulnerable are people who've been given their first Apple product for Christmas.

As ever, don't use links in emails. If you think you've already had this email and done the deed, change your iTunes account password and contact Apple through the Apple website.
