Apple Accused Of Conspiring To Keep Employees Pay Low

A judge in California has ruled that Apple, Google, Intel and four other tech companies must face an anti-trust lawsuit that claims they illegally agreed not to poach each other's employees. It's alleged the conspiracy kept pay low among the group.

The three - plus Disney's Pixar, Lucasfilm, Intuit and Adobe Systems - had tried to get the claims dismissed.

The class action lawsuit has been brought by five software engineers who accuse the companies of conspiring to depress employee pay by eliminating competition for skilled labour.
