Samsung has taken its time, but its entry into the WP8 market - the Ativ S - should finally start shipping in the UK on Friday, December 13.
On-line retailers say stock is due on the 13th and, for example, Clove Technology has priced the device at £442.80 - less than the Nokia Lumia 920, but more than the HTC 8X.
Phones4u are also now selling contracts for the Ativ S and says deliveries will be on December 21.
