BlackBerry plans the resurrection of the Bold to save it from collapse

John Chen, the very affable new BlackBerry CEO, says he's going to turn the clock back and produce more Bolds running the old BB7 software (BB is now up to BB100).
"From talking to our customers over the past few months, we have found that a lot of them still love devices running BBOS, particularly BB7, and many have been asking for them," Chen explained.

"We are starting a new production line of the Bold. We will continue to make these devices available and support the operating system as long as there is customer demand."
BlackBerry is desperately trying to get some form of future strategy together. Even Windows Phone devices have now overtaken BlackBerrys in sales.
