Looks like developers will have right to reply to Windows Phone Store reviews

Many Windows Phone app developers have been calling on Microsoft to give them the right to reply to reviews in the WP Store. Well, it looks like Microsoft has listened and is planning to move on it.

Windows Phone Daily is reporting what looks like a new feedback feature in the store.

If you click the "Report concern to Microsoft" link in an app listing, it take you to a MS webpage to leave feedback. That's always included things like "offensive content", "privacy concerns" and "poor performance".

But it now includes an extra subject: "Inappropriate developer response to my review".

So it looks like developers are to be given the right to respond to reviews.

Quite often, reviews are are critical for reasons beyond the control of the developer...like the reviewer doesn't know how to use the app properly...or the app doesn't have a feature because it's blocked by Microsoft.

This move will at least give the developer the right to put the record straight.
