The incredibly popular WhatsApp instant messaging platform is back in the Windows Phone Store nearly two weeks after being pulled because of bugs.
People who still had the app on their phones could carry on using it, but new users found no WhatsApp app in the store.
The new app has improvements, including custom tones, although there is a warning that not everything may work well yet with Windows Phone 8.1. Here's the changelog:
* Chat backgrounds * Broadcast lists * Privacy settings (settings > account > privacy) * Media auto-download settings (settings > chat settings > media autodownload) * Custom notification tones (Windows Phone 8 Update 3 required) * Various enhancements and bug fixes
