What will Microsoft branding look like on Lumia smartphones

We've probably seen the last release of a Nokia Lumia smartphone.

From now on, the Nokia branding is being dropped and replaced by Microsoft Lumia.

What we hope won't be changing is the Nokia attention to design, construction and flair.

We all remember the Zune, Microsoft's answer to Apple's iPod and plans for a Zune phone.

Don't remember it?

Not surprising. It flopped and the project was abandoned.

The rebranding will start to hit on Friday, November 7, when company social media accounts - like Facebook and Twitter - will drop Nokia Lumia and replace it with Microsoft Lumia.

Let's also not forget that Microsoft is planning to drop the Phone from Windows Phone, probably when Windows 10 gets released sometime next year.

Triple rebrandings all round.
