Flipboard on Windows Phone gets better, adds 512MB device support

The long-awaited release of Flipboard on Windows Phone was somewhat underwhelming...but it's getting better.

The magazine-style news reader has just been updated and now includes support for lower-powered 512MB RAM phones.

And it now has notifications:

- Support for devices with 512MB of RAM.
- Additional native Windows Phone controls for an overall smoother experience.
- Polish for tapping to expand images, notifications and accounts on Flipboard. 
- More bug fixes and performance improvements.

It still doesn't flip and it's still nowhere near as polished and featured as its Android and iOS counterparts, but it does seem that Flipboard is aware of this and is working to even the odds.
