A demo video - in Chinese - reportedly released by Microsoft shows that smart-dialing is likely to be included in the Windows 10 for Phone operating system update.
At the moment, there's no predictive dialing in Windows Phone and it's not yet included in the beta Preview of Windows 10.
But it seems it will be introduced before the final release of the update later this year.
The new dialer will list contacts to call much like the old T9 system and will be a very welcome addition to the OS.
