How To Enable AirPrint On An iPhone 3G

One of the nicest features of the new iOS4.2.1 software update for iDevices is AirPrint.  I know it's been watered down by Apple, but there are ways round that to make it work with any printer on your home WiFi set-up.

But AirPrint is automatically disabled by Apple on the older iPhone 3G.

Don't despair though.  It can be made to work...and it's easy.

If you haven't already, just download the Redsn0w jailbreak,  which works a treat on the iPhone 3G (though not newer devices).

When you're jailbreaking, the box above will appear. I've used a Mac screengrab, but it's much the same in Windows.  Make sure you tick the "Enable multitasking" box. Not only does it enable multitasking on the 3G, it also enables AirPrint.
