Nokia has released its new Smart Cam photo app for Windows Phone 8. But, for the moment, it only works on the new Lumia 925 phone which has it preloaded anyway.
Why? Well...deep breath....
The app only works with Nokia's new firmware update - called Amber - which the 925 has preloaded. It will be released for other Lumia WP8 devices in July/August- ish.
Not only that, it will be bundled with the next update from Microsoft for the WP8 operating system itself. That's codenamed GDR2 and will bring other improvements like FM radio.
If you're not using a Lumia 925, you can still download Smart Cam but it just pops up a warning that it doesn't work. Looks worth waiting for though:
